UX with Ads

I really like your site and i totally understand that it takes some money to run it.
Therefore i deactivated my ad-blocker on your site.
But pls. reconsider how and where you place the ads, as the overlay ads, especially from google, are slowing down the experience dramatically.
Honestly, i can’t imagine that anyone clicks on the ads at all. But only then you’re earning some bucks, right?
Again, ads are ok (i don’t click it), but when the typical UX is suffering from it, it is contra-productive.
